Mystery Monday Answer #3

My apologies for the delay in posting the answer to Mystery Monday #3's picture. Things have been exploding around here...work...thermometers...my tire!!!  Thanks so much for guessing this week!! Check back next Monday for a new mystery. :P

So without further delay... The winner of the third Mystery Monday is.....
::drum roll::
CHRISKNITS!!!!

YAY!!!!! WOOOOHOOOO!!!!
Congratulations!!!!

ChrisKnits guessed "...snow globe after being shook up." and they were right!! Actually it's more like a flamingo globe.

Did you know that snow globes first appeared at the Universal Expo of 1878 but the first snow globe with a miniature Eiffel Tower in it was sold in 1889 in Paris. The first snow globe related patent in the USA in 1929 was granted to Joseph Garaja of Pittsburgh. He who wanted to make snow globes that had fish underwater.  During the 1950s, snow globes were mass produced and became wonderful kitsch souvenirs. Remember all those we bought on family vacations? Shake, shake, shake!
